Discover Tannas & King
Tannas began operations in 1981 as a research and development extension of Savant Labs – a provider of physical-chemical analysis services for the automotive lubricant oil testing market – offering solutions for testing automotive lubricant oils.

Holding dozens of invention patents, its founder Ted Selby conceived equipment and established analytical methods that would later become international testing standards by ASTM, and which are currently listed in the specifications of lubricating oils of various grades and for various uses worldwide. Some important examples are the rotating vessel oxidation test (RPVOT), the Brookfield scanning technique (SBT) for determining the gelation index, and accelerated thermal oxidation tests (TEOST).
It's impossible to work in the automotive lubricants market and not know Tannas & King: it's an essential and definitive reference in this segment!
